And It Has Started

Okay with my boys I was sick to my stomach but not this bad. Morning/ all day sickness has kicked in. It is absolutely HORRIBLE and nothing is helping. Anyone that had this really bad I need some advice because this is a new thing for me. Yay pregnancy!!!!!!!!!!

Oh man, when I was pregnant I was sick too. I just made sure I always had a few crackers by my side. Drink lots and lots of water too:) Kalli has some good ideas on morning sickness too, make sure you ask her.

I am sorry you are so sick! Keep crackers by your bed and eat them before you get up. Take your prenatal vitamin at night or take half at a time. I know this is impossible but try and REST!!

So sorry about the morning sickness. I just always had crackers by my bed too, and made sure to eat something every couple hours. But I didn't really get very sick at all so I am probably not the best to ask. I sure hope it doesn't last too long for you though!

I was never sick like that, but what helped me to not get that bad was just eating small snacks all day long. I went through a huge granola bar phase. Also, yogurt helped me. Hope you feel better soon!

You ready for my "expert" advice...take a half of a unisom and a B6 vitamin together at night it is a miracle it worked for me better than crackers, bread or any food for that matter. Also the prenatal can sometimes cause sickness so my doctor said take it at night as well with the unisom and B6. After I did this I didn't miss one day of work I never threw up I had a great pregnancy so hopefully it works for you too. Wish you were here I have a ton left over cause we just bought my supply at Costco and since I only used it for the first trimester I have a lot leftover....

you can also skip the prenatal and do 2 chewable flinstones a day- that is what my doc told me, I never got morning sickness, but my prenatal vitamins gave me anxiety

Tiffini- I was so sick during my first trimester NOTHING HELPED! I tried crackers and ginger ale, HA! I tried unisom and B6, I tried Sea-Bands, I tried EVERYTHING and all I did was throw up multiple times a day. At 9 1/2 weeks, finally I had to break down and get my prescription filled. (long story about that) It was THE ONLY thing that would work to make life tolerable for me. So, if nothing else is working, call your doctor and get some Reglan. Seriously, next time around I will be getting the prescription as soon as that Plus sign shows up. Good luck honey!!! Message me if you want more info, because honey, I was almost hospitalized 3 times, I know your pain.
